about the INPA 7

For the INPA 7 Manifest received 1611 submissions from 474 artists in 46 states, Washington D.C., and 32 countries. Entries represented works made from 2013 through mid-2016. The publication will include104 works by 69 artists from 27 states, and 6 countries including Canada, China, Ireland, Poland, Scotland, and the United States. A written work by Andrés Padró (Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico) is also included.

Eight professional and academic volunteer advisors qualified in the fields of art, design, criticism, and art history juried the seventh International Painting Annual. The process of selection was by anonymous blind jury, with each jury member assigning a quality rating for artistic merit to each work submitted. The entries receiving the highest average combined score are included in this publication.

By mid-summer 2018 this Online Supplemental Resource will provide artist info and details of sample works for each artist included in the publication.
