Description
Come experience life-drawing in a non-traditional format. QuickDraw is a high-energy afternoon of 'OPEN', uninstructed gesture and short-pose figure drawing. Each session takes on a new theme and utilizes clothed models in order to provide artists of all ages, multi-aged groups, and families the opportunity to engage in figure drawing in an open and creative environment. The all-age sessions incorporate members of the regional performing arts community, including improvisational musicians, dancers, actors and more! For those new to drawing, each session will begin with a short demonstration on how to draw the figure quickly and answers to the question “Why draw?”
MATERIALS
Participants must bring their own drawing supplies, sketchbook, and drawing board (if needed).
