statement

My artwork searches for meaning and beauty in the everyday.  Through obsessive rendering and careful, deliberate composing of domestic imagery my drawings and paintings become meditations on motherhood, familial relationships, and time.  I attempt to create metaphorically open imagery that speaks about our shared experiences as human beings.
