statement
The Form of Affection
I have three points to make:
1. The internal core, the pattern at the center of all life is as such:
Many distinct and diverse parts meet, interpenetrate, and
bind together into a relationally unified whole.
Communion, Coherence, Affection, Love
2. This norm is constantly threatened
Threatened by conflicts internal
Threatened by conflicts external
3. A vision of unity is relevant and poignant to the degree that
unity is vulnerable.
Each work I make is the form of affection, the shape, the texture, the color and tone of love.
