statement
Through drawing from the live model, I seek myself, as a person and an artist. By refining my eye and hand, I am able to question my assumptions about art and the visual, and intuit where my projects, figurative or not, want to go next. This process of exploration is always a pleasure, and a key goal has been to communicate that pleasure in drawings that celebrate the vitality, variety, and beauty of the human form.
