statement
Looking deeply at my surrounding world, I have mostly been astonished by humans various great worlds concealed under the bones and flesh. But there are ways for artists to explore mysterious world of humans and make it tangible to be shared with others.
I have noticed that our appearance, our look toward objects, the way we laugh, frown, and live can reveal a lot about our personalities, worldviews, sorrows, happiness, and hopes. I believe the wrinkles and lines on our faces are not accidental. Our postures and gestures express a world of information about us which opens opportunities to me to reflect my thoughts in my works.
My works are attempts to illustrate the mysteries of characters and personas of humans and the differences between the facade people often portray versus their real personalities. In fact humans' personas and Identity has been very interesting and mysterious to me. I use visual elements such as line, color, shape and light so that these nuances become self explanatory for the observers.
The goal is to invite everyone to take a deeper look at the personalities and lives of people. The target of my art is paving a way so that we reach a better understanding of each other and of ourselves. In this way, we may feel more sympathy to others instead of being so self centered. I hope that my work promotes understanding that increases our tolerance and decreases our selfishness. I try to be a good observer and to share my experiences with others through visual arts.
