statement
Drawing is my primary attack tool for the development of ideas. For years, it was key to understanding and creating 3-dimensional work. Ideation, developmental drawings and plans were an essential part of my sculptural process. As my work moved toward 2-dimensional representation, drawing pushed beyond its developmental role, and became a powerful tool to explore content using simple form, value and mark-making.
