I have focused primarily on figuration in my drawings and paintings. The architectonic challenge of drawing human and animal figures has always attracted me; at the same time, these figures serve as vehicles to raise social and psychological questions. My current work aims to integrate randomness with control, mirroring life as I see it. In the iNDA entry, "Endangered Species," I am using the 500+ year-old technique of silverpoint to explore contemporary concern about the extinction of species.
